Origin and history
The building located 10 Place de la Bourse in Bordeaux dates from the 18th century, a period marked by the architectural beautification of the city. It is part of a coherent urban ensemble around this symbolic place, reflecting the influence of the French classic styles of the time. Its facades and roofs, characteristic of Bordeaux architecture, were protected from the beginning of the twentieth century.
The heritage protection of this building spanned a century. A first classification order in 1916 concerned the facade and roofs overlooking the Place de la Bourse.
