Origin and history

La Croix du Champ-Cassier is a historical monument located in the commune of Rolampmont, Haute-Marne. This type of cross, often erected at intersections or at the edge of fields, served as a landmark or symbol of protection for rural populations. Its listing in the inventory of Historical Monuments by decree of 6 November 1929 underlines its heritage importance and its role in local history.
