Origin and history

La Croix d'Archelange is a historical monument located in Archelange, in the Jura department (39), in the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region. Dating from the 1st quarter of the 17th century, this stone cross is in front of the village church. It was classified as a Historic Monument by decree of 19 November 1946, which is a testament to its heritage and cultural importance for the commune.
