Vestiges of the two major wars in France

The remains of 14-18, crossed, shelter, forts are concentrated in the north of the country, notably in the region of Verdun, with destroyed villages, necropolises, cemeteries, baionette trench, memorial and duaumont ossuary.
Instead, the remnants of War 39-45 can be found in Normandie, location of the landing, with Atlantic Wall Blockhouses, launch ramps. Many memory sites span the entire region.
