War vestiges 39-45 in France

The remnants of the 39-45 War are mainly concentrated in Normandy, Hauts de France, Grand-Est and New Aquitaine.
They are mainly indicative of the fighting related to the June 44 landing and traces of Nazi cruelty such as the martyr village of Oradour-sur-Glane, the Hartmannswillerkopf Memorial or the Izieu Children's Memorial.
As for the Battle of Normandy, there are many traces of the disembarkation still visible today: batteries, bunkers, cimetières... The Normandy is therefore a true open-air museum with many museums and arrow path that will allow you to understand the history of the disembarkation of June 6, 44.
