The house at 6 Rue Saint-Thibault in Provins is a civil building classified as a Historic Monument. Its inscription in the inventory of protected monuments, effective by decree of 15 January 1962, specifically concerns its street façade (including the vantals of the cochère door) and its roof. These architectural elements reflect the characteristics of ancient urban dwellings in this emblematic medieval city.

Provins, a fortified city of the Middle Ages listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, maintains a rich built heritage.
