Origin and history

The church of Saint-André de Pompertuzat, located in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region, is a religious building built in the sixteenth century. It is distinguished by its unique nave architecture, arched with warheads, and flanked by two chapels, one to the north and the other to the south. The exterior foothills correspond to the fallout of the inner vaults, while the ceiling is decorated with paintings.

Classified as a Historical Monument, this church was registered by decree on 24 October 1973. Today it belongs to the municipality of Pompertuzat. Its architecture reflects the stylistic features of the Renaissance period, with a sober but elegant structure, typical of the rural churches of this period in Occitanie.

Available sources, including Monumentum, indicate that the church is located at the approximate address of 58 La Veine, 31450 Pompertuzat. Although its location is deemed to be satisfactory a priori (note of 6/10), no additional information is provided on its current accessibility, such as visiting times or possible use for local events.
