Origin and history

The Colombier Farm, also known as the Colombier Manor House, is a building located in Bois-Guillaume, Normandy. Dated from the seventeenth century, this monument is mentioned for the first time in the thirteenth century, suggesting a medieval origin. It has been listed as a historical monument since 1978, although much of its structure was destroyed in 1982 because of its poor condition.

The mansion was associated with the Hôtel-Dieu de Rouen from 1698, indicating a link with local religious institutions. The protected elements include facades, roofs, and two remarkable chimneys, reflecting its period architecture. Despite its deterioration, there remains a vestige of Norman heritage.

Located on the road to Neufchâtel, the site is now managed by a municipal public establishment. Its registration in 1978 preserved certain architectural elements, although the majority of the building had disappeared. Sources also indicate an approximate location at 752 Rue de la Haie, confirming its anchoring in the Bois-Guillaume territory.
