Origin and history

The Homer column is a monument located in Marseille, in the Bouches-du-Rhône department, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. It is located in Place du 5 novembre, along the Rue d'Aubagne. This monument, accompanied by its gardens, was fully inscribed as a Historical Monument by order of 12 December 2022. It belongs to the commune of Marseille and is located in the non-cadastre public domain.
