Origin and history
The covered driveway of Kernescop is a megalithic monument located in Lohuec, in the department of Côtes-d Dating from Neolithic, it illustrates the funeral practices of this period, with a south-east/north-east facing structure, 12.90 metres long and 1.20 to 1.70 metres wide. His room, opened in 1897, was once higher, allowing a man to stand there.
The site has been classified as historical monuments since 25 January 1964. It consists of three orthostates supporting a blanket table of 3.10 meters long for 1.95 meters wide. This monument, typical of Breton megalithic buildings, offers an architectural and cultural testimony of local prehistoric societies.
