Origin and history

The Domaine Latour-Marliac, located in the Temple-sur-Lot in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, is an architectural and landscaped complex dating from the 19th century. It consists of a family home and a nursery garden, now labeled Jardin Remarkable since 2004. Originally, the estate was completed with agricultural land, reflecting a typical exploitation of the period.

The nursery garden, known as Pépinière Latour-Marliac, is a central part of the estate. It has been recognized as a Historic Monument, as well as the facades and roofs of the house, the greenhouse of experimentation and the cultural basin. These protections, formalized by an order in December 2024, underline the heritage importance of the site.

The estate is located at 20 avenue de Verdun, in the department of Lot-et-Garonne (47). Although the information about its opening to the public or its services (visits, rentals, accommodation) is not specified in the available sources, its status as a Historic Monument and its Remarkable Garden label make it a place of notable cultural and tourist interest.
