Western facade and door with three recessed statuettes, located in the extension of this facade: inscription by decree of 4 January 1934

Origin and history

The church of Glandage is a religious building located in the village of the same name, in the department of Drôme, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. This monument, whose location is considered satisfactory a priori, is distinguished by protected architectural elements: its western facade and a door decorated with three recessed statuettes. These elements were registered under the Historic Monuments by order of 4 January 1934 attesting to their heritage value.

The church property belongs to the municipality of Glandage, identified by Insee code 26142. Although available sources (Monumentum, Merimée data) do not specify its construction period, its status as a Historic Monument and its architectural features suggest local significance. GPS coordinates and approximate address (5125 Le Village) allow it to be located in a rural setting, typical of religious mountain buildings.

No information is provided on its current accessibility or contemporary uses (visits, rentals, accommodation).
