Origin and history

The Church of the Holy Family is a Catholic church located at 36 bis rue Danton, in the municipality of Kremlin-Bicêtre (Val-de-Marne). It is distinguished by its outdoor cast iron campanile, which supports two bells. The building is also accessible by General Leclerc Street, making it a central point in the local urban landscape.

Part of the church's liturgical furniture comes from the former Bicêtre Hospice, highlighting a historical link with this emblematic institution. The stained glass, in abstract style, was made in 1970 by artist Jean-Baptiste Ambroselli, adding a modern artistic dimension to the building. These elements reflect a fusion between local heritage and contemporary creation.

In 2016, a church hall was dedicated to the memory of Father Anizan, thus paying tribute to this religious figure. This initiative illustrates the importance of the church as a place of memory and spirituality for the Kremlin-Bicêtre community. The building remains a testimony of 20th century religious architecture in Île-de-France.
