Church: registration by decree of 10 April 1929
Origin and history
The church of Reilly, located in the department of Oise (60) in the Hauts-de-France region, is a religious building whose construction periods run from the twelfth to the sixteenth century. This monument, inscribed in the inventory of Historical Monuments by decree of 10 April 1929, reflects the architectural and artistic evolutions of these five centuries. Its ranking reflects its heritage importance to the commune and the region.
The location of the church, at the 2 Chemin de Clos Magny in Reilly, is documented in the Merimée base, with geographical accuracy deemed to be satisfactory a priori (note 6/10). Owned by the commune, this place of worship could, like many religious buildings of that time, have played a central role in the social and spiritual life of the village. Medieval and renaissant churches often served as a gathering point for the inhabitants, marking the rhythm of religious holidays, markets or collective decisions.
Available sources, including Monumentum and internal data, confirm its protected status and registration as Historic Monuments. No additional information is provided on any historical figures related to its construction or use, or on any significant events that took place there.
