Origin and history

Saint-Aubin de Saint-Aubin-des-Ormeaux is a religious monument located in the commune of Saint-Aubin-des-Ormeaux. Although its exact period of construction is not specified in the available sources, it embodies the local architectural and spiritual heritage, typical of the rural churches of the Pays de la Loire region. Parish churches like Saint-Aubin played a central role in the lives of rural communities.

They served not only as a place of worship, but also as a gathering point for social and civic events. In this region marked by a strong agricultural tradition, these buildings often reflected the organization and values of local populations throughout the centuries.
