Origin and history

The church Saint-Étienne de Beauvais, located in the Oise department in the Hauts-de-France region, is one of the most emblematic religious buildings in northern France. Founded at the end of the third century by Saint Firmin according to local tradition, it was first dedicated to Saint Vaast d'Arras before adopting its current term.
