Origin and history

The church Saint-Évent de La Malhoure is a religious monument located in the municipality of the same name in Brittany. The available sources do not specify its time of construction or its detailed architectural features, thus limiting usable historical information. In this region, local churches traditionally played a central role in community life, serving as a place of worship, assembly and identity marker for the inhabitants.

Their construction often reflected the resources and know-how available in the area, while meeting the spiritual and social needs of rural populations.
