Origin and history
The church Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Chassenon is a religious building located in the Charente department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It is located precisely place of the Church, in the commune of Chassenon, identified by the code Insee 16086. This monument, whose location is deemed satisfactory, is an integral part of the communal heritage and was inscribed in full, including its sacristy, by an order of 8 February 2019.
Parish churches such as Chassenon played a central role in the life of rural communities in New Aquitaine.
