Origin and history

The church Saint-Liépard de Raye-sur-Authie is a religious monument located in the municipality of the same name, in the Hauts-de-France region. Although its existence is attested, the available sources do not specify its construction period or the architectural or historical details that could more accurately characterize it. In the countryside of Hauts-de-France, parish churches such as Raye-sur-Authie played a central role in community life.

They served not only as a place of worship, but also as a gathering point for the inhabitants, often reflecting the local social and religious organization throughout the centuries.
