Origin and history

The church Saint-Martin de Fromont is a historical monument located in the commune of Fromont, Seine-et-Marne (77), in the Île-de-France region. This place of worship, whose exact address is 10 Rue de l'Église, was entered in the inventory of Historical Monuments by order of 17 June 1926. Today it belongs to the municipality and constitutes a local architectural and religious heritage.

Fromont, like many villages in Île-de-France, developed around his church, which played a central role in community life. Parish churches, such as Saint Martin, were places of assembly for religious services, but also for social and cultural events. Their preservation, as evidenced by the inscription of 1926, reflects the importance attached to this heritage in collective memory.
