Origin and history

The church Saint-Pardoux d'Affieux is a monument located in the commune of Affieux, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The available data do not specify its construction period or its detailed history, making it a building whose origins remain to be explored. Churches of this type, in rural areas such as Affieux, traditionally played a central role in community life.

They served as a place of worship, assembly and identity marker for the inhabitants, often around agricultural and craft activities specific to the region.
