The church of Saint-Sidoine d'Aydat, located in Puy-de-Dôme in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, is a Catholic religious building dedicated to Sidoine Apollinaire, bishop of Clermont in the 5th century. Its initial construction dates back to the 13th century, with Gothic influences adapted to a region of Romanesque tradition. The vault, considered clumsy, suggests modifications during construction, reflecting changes in architectural intentions.

In the 15th century, the church was fortified by the addition of four outer towers: one to the north and three to the south, responding to defensive needs of the time.
