Origin and history

The farm of Réchésy is a historical monument located in the commune of the same name, in Burgundy-Franche-Comté. Built in the 18th century, it embodies the typical rural architecture of this period, marked by buildings for agriculture and residential purposes. The facades, roofs, as well as the interior structure of the residential and operating buildings were protected by a registration order in 1986, highlighting their heritage value.

The site is located at the approximate address of the 39 Route de Pfetterhouse, in the Territory of Belfort (Department 90). Although the accuracy of its location is considered mediocre (note of 5/10), it remains an important testimony of the agricultural history of Franche-Comté. The protected elements specifically include facades, roofs, and the interior staircase of the main building, reflecting the spatial and functional organization of the farms of the time.

No information is available regarding the opening to the public, the visit, or any re-use of the site (guest rooms, room rental). The sources mentioned, such as Monumentum and internal data, do not provide further details on its specific history, owners, or its precise role in the local community in the 18th century.
