Origin and history
Brélidy-Plouëc Train Station is a French railway stop in the commune of Plouëc-du-Trieux in the Côtes-d'Armor (Bretagne). It is part of the Guingamp line in Paimpol, operated by CFTA since 1963. The route of this line, validated in 1880 by Chief Engineer Pelaud, was designed to serve the local villages, with the possibility of branching to Tréguier.
The building, listed as a historic monument in 2018, includes a central wharf, a passenger shelter, a freight hall, and remains such as a hub. The station, now unmanaged (PANG), is served by TER Brittany connecting Paimpol to Guingamp. In 2019, it was selected from among the 103 monuments benefiting from the Heritage Lotto.
Set at 96 metres above sea level, the station is located at 520,039 kilometres from the line between Pontrieux and Trégonneau-Squiffiec stops. Its architecture and equipment (water reservoir, sanitary building) reflect its historical role in regional transport. The property now belongs to the commune of Plouëc-du-Trieux.
