Origin and history

Hotel Moufle is a private hotel located at 16 Place Vendôme, in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. Built in two major phases, it dates from the 1st quarter of the 18th century for its initial structure, and was remodeled in the 1st quarter of the 19th century, notably under the influence of the First Empire style. This monument illustrates the architectural evolution of Paris between Ancien Régime and Empire, with interior decorative elements characteristic of this last period.
