Origin and history
The church Saint-Félix-de-Nole is located in the hamlet of Romaines, on the town of Ramerupt, in the department of Dawn (Great East). Partially built in the 16th century, it was redesigned in the 19th century. The building, rectangular, is 18 metres long for 5.9 metres wide, with a nave and a three-sided apse. Among its remarkable elements are a 16th century moulure limestone bentier, baptismal fonts composed of a square base (perhaps of the 12th century), a four-paned foot and an octagonal tank of the 16th century, as well as glass windows dating also from the 16th century.
The church historically depended on the parish of Vaucogne, which was attached to the dean of Margerie. It was registered as historical monuments by order of 7 May 1926. The property belongs to the municipality of Ramerupt. Its architecture and furniture, such as baptismal fonts and glass windows, testify to its heritage and religious importance in the region.
The available sources, including Wikipedia and Monumentum, confirm its status as a historical monument and its precise location at the 5 Grand-Rue, in the hamlet of Romaines. The building is referenced in the Mérimée base under the code Insee 10314, linked to the municipality of Ramerupt in the Dawn. No information is provided on its current accessibility or contemporary uses (visits, rentals, etc.).
