Origin and history

The church Saint-Michel de La Bastide is a Romanesque religious monument located in the village of the same name. Its architecture and location in the Pyrénées-Orientales are typical of medieval ecclesiastical constructions of this geographical area, marked by strong Catalan influence and a history linked to the Roussillon.
