The Lacroix House, located in the Crown near Angoulême, is a former owner's house in a tobacco dryer at the beginning of the 20th century. This building, attached to a factory, reflects the industrial and paper developments of the region, while maintaining exceptional interior features: living rooms, dining room, kitchen, monumental staircase and original bathrooms. Its architecture and decor, such as the earthenware of Gien decorated with thirties, bear witness to the bourgeois luxury of the time.

Classified as a Historic Monument in 2013, the house is fully protected, including the house, outbuildings and garden. It embodies a rare example of the art of living of the great industrial bourgeoisie at the beginning of the twentieth century, mixing technical heritage and domestic refinement. Its exceptional state of conservation makes it a valuable testimony to the lifestyles and social hierarchies of this period.
