The manor house of the Vaillerie is a building located in the commune of Saint-Germain-la-Campagne, in the department of the Eure, in the Normandy region. This monument, recently listed in the Inventory of Historic Monuments by decree of 29 July 2024, is distinguished by its architecture and its preserved land base. Norman manors, such as the Vaallerie, were often seigneurial residences or farms associated with an estate. In this region marked by a feudal and rural history, these buildings played a central role in the local social and economic organization. Their preservation allows us to witness today the ways of life, the techniques of construction and the social hierarchies that structured the Normandy countryside throughout the centuries.
