Owned the house according to the archives.
Origin and history
The house, listed as a Historic Monument, is located on the Island of Almône in Narbonne. In 1641 it belonged to the heirs of the vicar general of official of the Archbishop of Narbonne. Its façade, redesigned, retains a door in the middle of a low and wide hanger, equipped with a harp, with a salient key. No ornament remains, except for the splits.
Access is via a vaulted basket cove passage leading to a courtyard with a 17th-century margin well. To the right, a stone staircase with rotating quarters, without swinging, is distinguished by its first steps cut in counter-curves to gain room. The silt rests on a wall reinforced by a pillar also supporting an arch in full hanger.
Only the door, including its vantals, is protected by a registration order of 19 December 1946. The exact address is 16 rue Rouget-de-Lisle, although GPS coordinates suggest a close location at 7 rue du Lieutenant Colonel Deymes.
