Origin and history

This house located in Hennebont, Brittany, dates from the 3rd quarter of the 16th century. It is distinguished by its preserved architectural elements, including a pan-cut window at the northwest corner. This building illustrates the civil architecture of the Breton Renaissance, with typical materials such as wood and brick.

At the back of the house, a second building of the same period was joined, built in wooden panels and bricks. The facade of the house was inscribed in the Historical Monuments by decree of November 3, 1925, highlighting its heritage importance. Its location, at 9 rue Vieille-Ville, makes it a witness to Hennebont's historic urban planning.

The location of this monument is estimated with fair accuracy (note 5/10), according to available data. The house, although protected, does not have precise information about its current accessibility (visit, rental, etc.).
