Winegrower's house, including the facilities it contains (Box B 617): inscription by order of 26 November 1979

Origin and history

The vineyard house of Cuse-et-Adrisans is an emblematic building of the rural heritage of Burgundy-Franche-Comté. Built in the 4th quarter of the 17th century, it represents a preserved example of viticulture architecture, a major economic activity of the region at that time. The building, including its interior installations, was inscribed in the Historic Monuments by order of 26 November 1979, stressing its heritage importance.

Located in the Doubs department (code Insee 25184), this house is located precisely at 5015 Le Moulin des Prés, although the accuracy of its geographical location is assessed as satisfactory (note 6/10). The monument, referred to in the Mérimée base, reflects the way of life of the winegrowers of the modern era, where wine production structured the social and economic organization of the villages.

No information is available about its openness to the public, its current vocation (guest rooms, visit, etc.), or specific historical characters related to its construction. Sources are limited to Monumentum data and internal archives, without details of any owners or artisans who contributed to its construction. The building remains a silent testimony of wine-growing practices and rural habitat in Franche-Comté before the 18th century.
