Origin and history

The menhir du Corrois de Montplonne is a megalithic vestige located in the territory of the commune of Montplonne in the Grand Est region. This type of monument, characteristic of prehistoric societies, often marks a symbolic or funeral place, although its precise function for this site is not documented in available sources.
