The menhir du Pré de Camet is a megalithic monument located in the commune of Plouvara, in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany. Dated from the Neolithic, it is distinguished by its conical shape and triangular base, with imposing dimensions: 3.50 meters high for 1.50 meters of width and thickness. It consists of large grain granite, typical of the megalithic constructions of this period.

In 1874, a excavation conducted at his foot by V. Micault discovered charcoal and pottery studs, attesting to an ancient human occupation around the site. These remains suggest ritual or funeral practices related to menhir, although their precise interpretation remains subject to debate among archaeologists.

The menhir was classified as historic monuments on July 20, 1964, recognizing its heritage and archaeological value. This ranking aims to protect this emblematic vestige of Breton megalithism, while allowing its study and preservation for future generations.
