Origin and history
Catherine Kos Funeral Monument is a historic building located in Reiningue, Haut-Rhin department, in the Greater East Region. Built in the 19th century, it is located precisely on rue Georges-Alter. This monument is representative of the funerary architecture of the period, while being linked to local religious history, Catherine Kos having played an important role in Upper Alsace.
The building was listed as historic monuments by order of 16 June 1992. This protection highlights his heritage and artistic interest, especially because of his sculptor, Paul Brutschi, mentioned as a masterpiece.
