Origin and history

The Pavilion, located in La Fare-les-Oliviers in the Bouches-du-Rhône, is a monument listed in the inventory of Historic Monuments since 1992. This building is distinguished by its architecture and interior, including two rooms decorated with Art Deco decorations. The site also includes a structured garden, with a well, a pond, a fence wall and a walk, elements protected by the registration order.

The location of the Pavilion, at the 4 aisle of the Pavillon, is attested by GPS coordinates and data from the Merimée database. Although the accuracy of its location is considered poor (note of 5/10), its administrative address is clearly identified in the commune of La Fare-les-Oliviers, attached to the department of Bouches-du-Rhône and to the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. No additional information is available on its history, origins or former owners.

The protected elements of the Pavilion, both outdoors (park, wall, basin) and indoors (art Deco decors), testify to a preserved architectural and landscape heritage. The 1992 registration covers the entire area, stressing its historical and aesthetic importance. No mention is made of its current accessibility, whether it be visits, rentals or accommodation.
