Origin and history
The public well and the stone cross of Bierry-les-Belles-Fontaines are emblematic architectural elements of the local heritage. Dated from the 1st quarter of the 17th and 18th centuries, they bear witness to the importance of water points and religious symbols in the organization of villages of that time.
