Origin and history

The tunnel-aqueduct drainage of the Lac Colombiers et Montady pond is a hydraulic structure located in the commune of Nissan-lez-Enserune, in the Hérault department. This monument, classified among the Historical Monuments, bears witness to an engineering dedicated to water control, probably linked to drying up or regulating local ponds.
