Origin and history
The former manor house of Bélyvière, located in Feings (formerly referred to as the Controis-en-Sologne), is an architectural testimony of the sixteenth century, typical of the French Renaissance. The building is distinguished by its skylights decorated with carved pilasters with capitals, as well as by a central polygonal turret, characteristic of the seigneurial houses of the era. To the right, a square tower, adjoining the commons, completes the ensemble, reflecting a functional and aesthetic spatial organization.
Ranked a Historical Monument by order of 25 February 1948, the mansion retains remarkable elements such as its courtyard façade and turret staircase, symbols of the architectural refinement of the period.
