Origin and history

The former manor house of Bélyvière, located in Feings (formerly referred to as the Controis-en-Sologne), is an architectural testimony of the sixteenth century, typical of the French Renaissance. The building is distinguished by its skylights decorated with carved pilasters with capitals, as well as by a central polygonal turret, characteristic of the seigneurial houses of the era. To the right, a square tower, adjoining the commons, completes the ensemble, reflecting a functional and aesthetic spatial organization.

Ranked a Historical Monument by order of 25 February 1948, the mansion retains remarkable elements such as its courtyard façade and turret staircase, symbols of the architectural refinement of the period. The precise location, although subject to a margin of error (level 7/10 depending on the sources), places the site at 26 Rue de la Bièvre, 41120 Feings, in the department of Loir-et-Cher, in the region Centre-Val de Loire. No information is available on its current use (visits, accommodation, etc.).

Available sources (Monumentum, Merimée base) highlight its registration as Historic Monuments, but do not specify original sponsors or significant events related to the site. The analysis is therefore limited to architectural features and heritage protection, without additional biographical or contextual elements.
