The château des Girodeaux, officially called Domaine des Girodeaux, is an architectural complex located in Chemilly, in the Allier department. This estate consists of a noble house and a chapel built around 1660, as well as agricultural buildings dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, including a barn-stable and a remarkable pigeon house. The constructions adopt a mixed style, combining a masonry base and a superior structure in wood-pans with brick-burdening, typical of the local rural habitat.

The estate is organised around a closed courtyard, reflecting a functional architecture and representative of the large farms of the time. The pigeon-pigeon, a distinctive element, illustrates the social status of the owners, while the chapel bears witness to the importance of religious life in the seigneurial or bourgeois domains of the seventeenth century.
