The Museum of Bugist Traditions is a monument located in Saint-Rambert-en-Bugey, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The aim of this museum is to preserve and enhance the traditions and lifestyle of the inhabitants of Bugey, a region marked by a rich rural and artisanal history. In Bugey, as in many French regions, local museums play an essential role in the transmission of collective memory.

Today the Museum is aimed at several audiences: individual, family, adult or school groups.
It offers you several types of visits:
Discover at your own pace the different rooms with a visiting booklet. Do you have children? They will turn into little detectives if they want access to the museum's treasure chest at the end of their visit.
Would you like more specific information? Choose the guided tour. The association's volunteers, natives of the valley or those who know it well will brighten your discovery of anecdotes and answer your questions.
Are you greedy? Then opt for a gourmet visit that will allow you to taste local products at the end of the visit. A friendly moment not to miss...
The school, in addition to the visit will be able to participate in workshops according to their level the animals of the farm, writing in pen, survey of working life in the nineteenth century....)
