Origin and history

The Chapel of Cubord is a religious building located in the commune of Valdivienne, New Aquitaine. Classified as a Historic Monument by decree of 10 January 1924, it bears witness to a local architectural and spiritual heritage. Its exact location, 3 Impasse du Bas Village, is documented in the Merimée and Monumentum bases, although the accuracy of its location is considered mediocre (note of 5/10).

In the Poitou-Charentes region, now integrated into New Aquitaine, rural chapels such as Cubord often played a central role in community life.
