Origin and history
Leyzarnie Castle is a monument in the municipality of Manzac-sur-Vern, New Aquitaine. Built during the first quarter of the 20th century, it represents an example of architecture of this time, although the available sources do not specify its initial use or its possible transformations. At that time, the region, with a still largely rural economy, saw the emergence of constructions reflecting the social and technological developments of the early twentieth century.
The castles and large houses of that time could be used as residences for wealthy families, or linked to local agricultural or industrial activities, without the current data being sufficient to clarify Leyzarnie's exact role.
