Origin and history

Murles Castle is a building located in the municipality of Murles, Occitanie region. Although its existence is attested, the available sources do not specify its construction period or detailed history. This monument therefore remains partially mysterious for local historians.

The castles of this region, often linked to medieval or modern history, generally served as strategic points for the control of territories or seigneurial residences.
