Origin and history

The Noailles Manor House, located in the municipality of the same name in Corrèze (Nouvelle-Aquitaine), is a historic monument registered since 1977. Built in the 16th century, it belonged to the domain of the lords of Noailles. Its architecture reflects the trends of this period, with a structure composed of three building bodies: a central body framed by two wings, the one to the east serving as porch. A rectangular tower, with a single flight staircase, marks the inside corner of the whole.

Inside, two remarkable chimneys testify to the care given to the decoration. This mansion, typical of local architecture, embodies the prestige of the lords of Noailles, the influential family of the region. Its listing as Historic Monument underscores its heritage value, although its precise location remains approximate (level 5/10 depending on the sources).

Today, the Noailles mansion retains its historical character, but information on its access (visits, rental, accommodation) is not specified in the available sources. Its official address, according to the Merimée base, is indicated as being on CD 18 and V.C. 10, in Noailles, in the department of Corrèze (code Insee 19151).
