Origin and history

The Dolmen de Bleigny-le-Carreau is a mysterious stone located in Bleigny-le-Carreau, in the department of Yonne, Burgundy-Franche-Comté. Although unproperly classified as dolmen, this stone is in reality a block of spherical ferruginous sandstone, located on the edge of a road, near an ancient Roman "Arappa" road.
