Origin and history
The dolmen dit La Pierre-Levée de Maisonneuve is a megalithic monument located in the commune of La Roche-Rigault, in the department of Vienna (Nouvelle-Aquitaine). Daed of Neolithic, it illustrates the collective funeral buildings typical of this period, marked by the use of large stone erected to form sepulchral chambers.
