Saint-Michel de Saint-Michel-de-Lapujade is a Catholic building located in the Gironde department, in the centre of the village of Saint-Michel-de-Lapujade. Built in the 12th century, it underwent major expansions and restorations in the 17th century. Its architecture thus reflects these two distinct periods, mixing novel elements with later additions.

Ranked by list in 1862 among the historical monuments, it was declassified on 22 February 1894 due to restoration work deemed not to be in conformity. It was finally registered again on 24 December 1925, protecting the entire building. This status has allowed its preservation until today.

In 2022, the church was selected from among the twelve New Aquitaine sites benefiting from the Heritage Lotto, receiving a €278,000 grant from Stéphane Bern's Heritage Mission. This assistance is intended to finance restoration and development work on the monument, highlighting its regional heritage importance.
