Origin and history

The farm in Seuil-d'Argonne, in the department of Meuse, is a historical monument whose architectural elements have been partially protected. The facades and roofs of the buildings, registered by order of 22 October 1992, constitute the classified parts of this farm. The official address, according to the Merimée base, is the lane of the Route, although GPS coordinates suggest a location close to Rue Auguste Lemaire.

This type of farm reflects the traditional rural organization of the Lorraine region, which is now integrated into the Greater East.
