Origin and history
The prehistoric deposit of the Pont d'Ambon à Bourdeilles is a classified archaeological site in the commune of Bourdeilles in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. This monument is associated with the Paleolithic period, an era marked by the first traces of human occupation and the use of carved stone tools.
